Escaping Everyday Life….in Anthropologie store.

Once you enter the Anthropologie store you forget all about the outside life. The atmosphere of this place sets you off on a journey during which you almost forget the items around are for sale and you are meant to do shopping here!!! The inspiration is coming from every corner of the store and although the space is vast it feels warm and homely. Clothes are cleverly displayed on stools made out of recycled materials accompanied by original antiques and various home decoration items. A very interesting feature of the store, the one that you will certainly not overlook is a huge vertical green living wall that is spreading across all three levels. Anthropologie wanted something special for their first European flagship store and they certainly got that. The wall has been installed by BioTecture Ltd that has worked on green walls in places such as Inamo (St. James) or RIBA Headquarters (Portland Place).

 You can easily spend an hour in the shop not realising how time flies. Walking around is like discovering a piece of treasure at every corner and for creative souls like myself the space can functions as an excellent therapy !!!
