Grand Design, Kennington Water Tower
I live very near to Imperial War Museum in London which is in very close proximity to an amazing 150 years old water tower building that was featured in the latest episode of Grand Design on Channel 4. (Series 9, Episode 5)
I love old industrial buildings,and especially ones with such beautiful architectural features like this Grade II listed Victorian water tower.
Leigh Osborne and Graham Voce, the lucky owners of this unique building have my complete admiration for taking such a big risk and converting original industrial building into a spectacular home.
The room on top of the building – (the original water tank) offers 360 degree view across London and even though this view can only be enjoyed by the owners of the building – Leigh Osborne and Graham Voce created an amazing building which certainly enhances the neighborhood.
