Not long ago I wrote a blog post about Urban Physic Garden that was located at Union Street, London between 11th of June till 15th of August. When the garden was about to be dismantled and closed off Wayward Plants organised a Wayward Plant Adoption Weekend during which anyone could come and adopt a plant. People from community spaces were even encouraged to adopt one of 11 hospital wards.
After careful consideration I decided to adopt a lovely tomato bush which even under current rainy weather conditions has given me the first tasty tomato – hence the proud picture !!!
I hope there will be many Urban Physic Gardens in the future and I look forward to visit and enjoy all of them !!!
